The First Family Rev. Henry Harper is a native of Bayboro, North Carolina and now makes his home in Aquasco, Maryland. He was educated in the Pamilico, Craven and Wilson County Public School Systems in North Carolina. He graduated from Livingstone College, Salisbury, N.C. in 1973 with a Masters degree in Sociology.

Rev. Harper was called into the Ministry in 1981 while he was a member of The Hunter Memorial A.M.E. Church. He was appointed to start St. Mark A.M.E. Church in Oxon Hills, Md. In 1984. He is the founding pastor and he has served as pastor for 18 years.

Rev. Harper is and has been married to the First Lady Margaret Harper for 27 years and they are the proud parents of Jessica Harper. Rev. Harper is grateful to God for all the wonderful things he has done and is doing in his life.
